As with her journey from China to Austin, Danqin believes that authenticity comes from self-exploration and self-acceptance.

Raised in China, Danqin is an adventurer with a journey filled with wonderful stories. After earning a degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Shanghai University, she realized that accounting was not her passion. She wanted to combine her aptitude for numbers with her passion for people. She discovered the financial planning profession, boarded a one-way flight, and landed at Texas Tech University.

A very social person who enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life and from various cultures, Danqin moved to Austin after spending eight years in Miami and found a new home at Austin Asset. Danqin wants to help others the way she was helped. Getting involved makes her feel more connected with the local community and it opens her up to new possibilities. Having had the benefit of powerful mentors early in her career, she looks forward to mentoring others who are starting out in the field.

Danqin is an avid lifetime learner and is currently absorbed in the Pomodoro Technique so that she can be even more productive, and Life Planning training to help her clients live their fullest lives.

Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, meditation, paddle boarding, hiking, tennis, and music. She has also mastered the headstand yoga pose, making one of her childhood dreams come true.
